Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice [Movie Review]

We watched one of the most anticipated movies of the year last night and it didn't disappoint although the 3D stopped 20 minutes into the movie thanks to Ster Kinekor Gateway!

You wouldn't think that a normal human being would be able to stand up against Superman but director Zack Snyder made it possible in his latest movie.

Ben Afleck replaces Christian Bale as Batman/Bruce Wayne and some might have thought that that was an impossible shoe to fill but Ben managed to pull it off!

He had to work his ass off but you could see the results especially in the workout scene before he battled the big S! Looks like he followed an extreme Cross Fit regime.

As for Henry Cavill reprising his role as Superman/Clark Kent you could see more of the conflict in his character and his responsibilities as a savior of the planet that he doesn't really belong to.

Jesse Heisenberg is a very young and truly psychotic Lex Luthor. He fits the role quite well as he is used to playing power hungry young billionaires!

A pleasant surprise was Gal Gadot as the beautiful Wonder Woman/Diana Prince. Displaying that beauty can be powerful as well.

The movie ended as was expected if you're a Superman fan considering the nemesis that was battled in the end and it looks like we're in for a great buildup to the Justice League which is DC's answer to Marvel's Avengers!

Nespresso Recipe Morning at Gateway with Etienne Benet

As I sip my regular vending machine coffee my mind drifts back to the heavenly aromas and tastes I experienced at the Nespresso Boutique at Gateway last week.

I had the pleasure of attending a tasting session and the opportunity to meet Etienne Benet who is the Regional Manager of Nespresso for the Middle East, Africa and Caribbean.

As we waited for the event to begin we were treated to some pleasant snacks and amazing coffee combinations. I never knew coffee went so well with orange juice to make a refreshing, thirst quenching drink. Another surprise was a milk tart latte which tasted very much like everyone's favorite dessert.

Every two months or so they release some limited edition flavours and we had the pleasure of sampling these from Mexico and Rwanda.

Some familiar faces seen at the event were @askashe, @lizlaughalot and @cathjenkins. It was great catching up with them as we enjoyed the different delicious coffee creations.

One of the questions that I thought was very important was answered by Etienne and that was what their recycling program and strategy in Africa was? It was good to know that 80% of the capsules including the coffee grounds were being recycled currently and they're looking at 100% recycling in the near future. The key to this is collaboration by the consumer because it is up to them to bring in the used capsules.

At the end of the day we were all on a great caffeine buzz and walked away with a goodies bag that contained a nifty Nespresso travel mug.

What is your favourite hot beverage?
