Fun Times at Gateway Umhlanga [Video]

A few days ago Lorna and I went to the movies at Gateway Theatre Of Shopping in Umhlanga Rocks. We got off the lifts and came across this character all alone in the XD Theatre 4D Experience. There wasn't anyone watching him outside as well.

This was strange because normally you would find a group of your friends or family watching you on the screens outside the theatre. Watching the screens is almost as much fun as the 4D experience itself. The expressions of the people inside is entertaining enough.

Since nobody was around to share this dude's experience I decided to record it and post it here.

Have you tried the 4D Experience?

It's lank lekker boet!

This morning Gareth Cliff mentioned on 5FM a video on YouTube that is going viral in South Africa.

It is called Jozi Shore and it takes the Mickey out of the American TV series Jersey Shore and the Johannesburg East Rand culture of spray tans and gym freaks. It is extremely funny and as of this morning the video has 130000 views!

The video was made by Dean Jay Shamley and Anton Taylor.

I hope these guys make more Jozi Shore episodes as we need more humor in SA! Well done guys.

Some of the popular quotes viewers enjoyed are:

"I thought he was a bit of a gay!"

"Castle light! Of course h20s only 2 weeks away!"

"You know I don't really trust this place, I don't trust a man whose arms are thinner than a girls"

"This biscuit kak, nah nah"

"The biggest gym in the world, it's the kitchen boet"

"gumboots... I'm gonna be knee deep brother".

This is the video's description on YouTube:

Joburg's biggest boets in search of the H2O scene in the Cape. Follow Anton and his gheys, guided by his hipster cousin, while they attempt to "integrate" into Cape Town culture.

The Vampire at Anfield

So Suarez gets a 10 match ban! Lots of LFC fans expected a ban but none of them thought it would be that severe!

Most Liverpool fans are complaining that Defoe, Spurs striker, got a yellow card for biting a player yet Suarez got a 10 match ban. Is it because the FA hates Liverpool? Is it because Suarez is ugly? No.

Maybe it's because this isn't the first time this has happened and Suarez hasn't learnt his lesson. If the ref had seen Suarez tasting Ivanovic then he would have gotten the same treatment that Defoe got. A yellow or red card!

Whatever the case may be here are some funny pics of the most colorful football player at Anfield!

The Number 20

A lot has been happening in the world of English football recently.

If you haven't heard yet then you've been sleeping under a rock. Manchester United closed the deal on their 20th English Premier League title. Social media went mental last night after Robin van Persie scored a hat trick winning the match against Aston Villa and the 2013 EPL title for Manchester United with 4 games to go to the end of the season.

Fans at Old Trafford kept singing Glory Glory Man United and other chants including Robin Van Persie's name as the game drew to a close and didn't leave till the last player left the pitch after doing their victory laps.

There were some interesting results over the weekend too. Tottenham Hotspurs came from the back to beat Manchester City 3-1 at the lane thus coming closer to securing their place in the European Champions League next season.

Liverpool literally chowed Chelsea in the second half when Luis Suarez took a bite out of Ivanovic. Many memes were spawned from that bite. The final score for that game was 2-2.

I don't know what was going through Suarez's mind when he went in for the chomp but one thing is for sure when Liverpool is hungry for a win they don't fright to take a bite!

Congrats to Manchester United on a well executed season. Proving to all haters(LFC) that they are the best team in the history of football in England.

Ironman 3

I just watched the trailer for the third installment of the Ironman franchise by Marvel and I must say that I am very excited and can't wait for this movie to come out.

Robert Downey Jr. is back as Tony Stark aka. Ironman and it looks darker and more serious. Ben Kingsley plays the evil Mandarin and he is like the worst enemy Ironman has to face.

The trailer promises lots of drama and excitement but I am just a bit concerned that it reveals a bit too much.

One of the big reveals is the Ironman army and the sneak peek of The Hulkbuster suit. Would love to see it against The Incredible Hulk... maybe in a future Avengers sequel.

Ironman 3 releases internationally on 3 May 2013.

There are a few Marvel movies coming out soon. Which is your favorite Marvel movie character? Which movie can't you wait for?

I'm happy with the Best Picture nominations although I haven't seen any of them yet. The movies I'm looking forward to watching that were nominated are Les Miserables, Life of Pi, and Django Unchained.
