Oscar Nominations 2013

The nominations for the 2013 Academy Awards were announced yesterday.

I'm happy with the Best Picture nominations although I haven't seen any of them yet. The movies I'm looking forward to watching that were nominated are Les Miserables, Life of Pi, and Django Unchained.

Les Mis has an interesting take on musicals because the actors were recorded singing while filming and not in a studio. Life of Pi looks really interesting and it has an Indian in it and Django is directed by on of my favorites, Quentin Tarentino!

The most nominations went to Lincoln with 12 Academy Award nominations followed closely by Life Of Pi with 11 nominations and Les Miserables and Silver Linings Playbook with eight nominations each.
